So I need everyone's help for a class project I'm doing. Below is a picture that I painted, and each of you have to tell me what you thought my intention for the painting is. In other words, what statement I'm trying to make with this picture. Everyone has to do it, and you can even tell your friends about it, because the more people that respond, the better.
So, what statement am I trying to make in this picture?
The assignment is due Thursday afternoon, so please respond before then!

I think it looks like a big storm cloud and there's a smiley happy face underneath that is trying to reach it's hand out and get out from under it. So maybe you feel burdened by lots of stuff and you're trying to stay happy and get out from under all the stress...make sure you tell us what you meant from it k? (This is Shan)
Ok Ryan (this is Kent) I mean no offense but I think Colin took the artistic gene :) I'm just teasing. What I see in this picture is a happy scarecrow sticking out his tongue. Therefore, I would say that maybe things that are scary don't always have to be.
The statement you are trying to make is as follows: "This is how simple it is to make abstract art. I can't believe people actually get paid for this." Am I right? Maybe that is just my reaction, but I think there is too much over analysis of art. Especially of the abstract kind. Does that help?
The bull in the picture is really sad that he is a bull today because he has to live outside in the cold, rainy, darkness. This is Rachel and that is what I think was going through your head when you had to draw this magnificant pick of artwork! ps Kent, I think Ryan actually got all the artistic talent! How can you not see that?
Hey Ryan (this is Trent) it looks to me like some twisted game of hangman. It looks like Micky Mouse is on trial and the people playing the game are only one letter away from his death. Maybe I think this because we play hangman every week in our primary class.
